Jan. 17th, 2008 10:23 pmLove is a religion that is not bound by churches or temples, though one hopes it creeps into them. It is not even defined by a specific deity, and sometimes not by one at all. Love is the universal religion that all of us acknowledge in some form, that there are ways to act that are acceptable, that are unacceptable, that there are things to be praised and things to be despised. Love means aiming to behave towards someone in an acceptable way and to aim towards actions that are praised--and not for the sake of the praise.
Please read this. It was written by a friend of mine, and I think it's something everyone needs to hear.
